The initiative seeks to initiate dialogue and raise awareness about agricultural dataspaces among farmers, businesses, researchers, and public authorities, as both countries are still at an early stage in adopting the data economy.
In the medium term, AgriDataSpace.cy aims to evolve into a trusted data-sharing hub, enabling secure and interoperable exchange of agricultural data while remaining fully compliant with relevant European regulations and standards.
The initiative will also support stakeholders in adopting a data-sharing culture, providing guidance, tools, and collaboration opportunities that help farmers, businesses, and public institutions participate in data ecosystems and benefit from data-driven innovation.
