Technical architecture of AgriDataSpace.cy Hub
The AgriDataSpace.cy Hub will be implemented as a federated agricultural data-sharing architecture that combines shared coordination services with distributed data exchange mechanisms. Its technical architecture will separate Control Plane services—such as identity, trust, consent, permissions, and policy enforcement—from Data Plane services that enable interoperable data exchange, semantic mapping, cataloguing, and traceability. The Hub will support secure onboarding of participants, discovery of datasets and services through federated catalogues, and auditable access to data under clearly defined usage conditions. This approach will allow data providers to retain sovereignty over their data, while enabling farmers, businesses, researchers, and public authorities in Cyprus and Greece to participate in a trusted ecosystem aligned with DSSC building blocks and the Common European Agricultural Data Space (CEADS).
