Vineyard Image Dataset for Disease Detection, Cluster and Canopy Estimation
March 15, 2026Compost Monitoring Data
March 15, 2026Air quality monitoring, environmental pollution detection, IoT-based sensor networks, agri-environmental analytics, public health and regulatory compliance.
Air quality data is directly relevant to the agri-food sector as it captures pollutants and environmental stressors (such as NOx, particulate matter, and volatile organic compounds) that impact crop health, soil quality, and food safety. These datasets support monitoring of pollution from agricultural activities (e.g. livestock emissions, pesticide use, fertilizer application) and industrial sources near food production areas. They enable compliance with environmental regulations, support sustainability reporting (e.g. CSRD, Farm to Fork), and contribute to precision agriculture and smart farming initiatives across Cyprus and the EU.
The datasets are private generated by EMBIO using its airbeld® IoT environmental monitoring system, capturing real-time air quality parameters, deployed in more than 150 locations in Cyprus.
Parts of the dataset can be made available free of charge for non-commercial scientific research and educational use. Any commercial use, including product development, service delivery, internal business operations, or monetized AI model training, requires a separate paid commercial license from the data owner.
Dataset description & structure
The dataset consists of continuous real-time air quality measurements collected using the airbeld® IoT monitoring system. Each measurement session includes:
Parameters: CO2, NOx, PM2.5, PM10, O3, VOCs, temperature, humidity
High temporal resolution with continuous data capture (multiple readings per hour)
Coverage: multiple deployment sites across Cyprus (agricultural zones, industrial areas, urban and peri-urban environments)
Data can be used at:
raw level (time-series per sensor/station)
aggregated level (daily/weekly/monthly averages, pollution index calculations, trend analysis)
Potential users & use cases. These datasets are valuable for:
- Farmers and agricultural cooperatives
- ICT companies and AI developers
- Research organisations and universities
- Environmental and regulatory bodies
- Public health organisations and government agencies
